This is a Charles Cunniffe Designed contemporary mountain home. We were tasked with screening the home and maintaining expansive mountain views. There was a large amount of retaining walls and seeding to restore the extreme slope off of the back of the house. Off of the master bedroom, we set 2 large 12′ x 6′ slabs and a 7000# boulder to create an intimate seating area. The plantings utilized native plant material to create lush gardens around the entire structure.
Our client was interested in creating a garden/patio space that reflected their love of Shakespeare.
